FUSED footwear
Philippe Holthuizen, a Dutch designer based in Hong Kong, has been creating one-piece 3D printed shoes since 2017 and established the brand Fused Footwear. Originally trained in transport design, he transitioned to product design after being inspired during an internship at a shoe company. His focus lies in sustainable practices, avoiding overproduction and waste by offering only made-to-order items. The materials used in the product are entirely recyclable, and a”Return 2 Recycle”initiative is in place to encourage customers to return old products for recycling in exchange for a discount.
